Member Tour: Argonne National Laboratory

Innovation DuPage is excited to host a member tour at Argonne National Laboratory, one of the nation’s leading science and engineering research centers. Please review the information below to ensure a smooth and timely visit for your group.
Argonne Site Entry Requirements
All visitors must be pre‑authorized by an Argonne host and issued a visitor pass before entering the campus.
- A Real ID–compliant ID is required for all visitors 18 years and older.
- For a list of other acceptable photo identification documents, click here.
- To meet Argonne’s security timeline, all visitor information must be submitted by Friday, July 10th.
Arrival Time
The tour will begin at 1:00 p.m.
If your group would like to arrive early, you are welcome to have lunch on campus at Beaker & Flask, Argonne’s on‑site restaurant.
- The restaurant opens at 11:00 a.m.
- Early arrival helps us coordinate pick‑up and drop‑off for your group.
Argonne Tour Experience
We are currently coordinating with Argonne’s Tour Manager to confirm whether your group will be able to visit all four featured locations:
- Advanced Photon Source (APS)
- Aurora – Argonne Leadership Computing Facility
- Materials Engineering Research Facility (MERF)
- Nuclear Energy Exhibit Hall
