About the Panelists

Phat Chiem


Phat X. Chiem is the founder of StoryCraft, a brand storytelling and content marketing agency in Santa Monica. Prior to establishing StoryCraft, he spent years as a senior editor at Yahoo managing content for its powerful homepage. He has also worked as a freelance writer and journalist, including as a business reporter for the Chicago Tribune and a news editor for StoryCraft combines his background in journalism and content creation with his experience in business strategy and marketing. He also holds an MBA from Pepperdine's Graziadio School of Business and Management.

Tina Robinson


Tina Robinson is a facilitator, organizational consultant, and leadership coach passionate about creating more engaging workplaces and agile, future-ready workforce. She currently wears multiple hats as founder/chief consultant at WorkJoy, head of global leadership development at TechStyle Fashion Group, and adjunct faculty at CSU Long Beach and Loyola Marymount University.

Tina earned her BA from the University of Virginia, MBA from the University of Michigan, and lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two crazy pet parrots.

Josanta Gray

Grayscaled Media

Josanta Gray Emegano is the Founder of Grayscaled Media, a boutique firm that helps indie brands navigate the gray areas of retail distribution and brand partnerships. The company was created with the intention of helping indie brands avoid costly mistakes when growing their businesses. She recently created From Gray to Green, a series of e-courses designed to help provide clarity on a variety of subjects for budding entrepreneurs.

Named the Olivia Pope of Beauty by clients, Josanta has developed retail strategies that have allowed her clients to secure distribution with Ulta, Sephora, Urban Outfitters, Target, and HSN to name a few.

Previously, Josanta was the Chief Operating Officer of Beauty Bakerie Cosmetics Brand. Prior to Beauty Bakerie, Josanta worked as a Licensing Agent at Creative Artists Agency - Global Brands Group (CAA-GBG). She was responsible for managing brands such as Gabby Douglas, Daya by Zendaya, and California Baby.

Josanta is also an internationally published writer with pieces that can be found on CBS, NBC, Grind Pretty, and many more!

Josanta holds a Masters in CommunicationManagement from the University of Southern California.
